Bonjour à tous!
My name is Rose, and I am so thrilled to be working with all of you this school year! To tell you a bit about myself, I am from Sacramento, the capital of California, where I spent my entire childhood. There isn’t much to do there, but luckily, it’s pretty close to a lot of popular spots to visit, like Lake Tahoe and San Francisco.
I just graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, where I studied literature in both French and English. I love talking about what I read with others, so I can’t wait to hear what your favorite stories are! Outside of school, I also enjoy listening to music, reading/writing poetry, playing guitar, and going on walks with my pet dogs.
I am so excited to learn with you this year, and I hope to help you explore the English language in new, fun ways. This will be my first time in Lyon, and since I have already shared a little about my home, I am eager for you to teach me all about yours. I’ll see you soon, and have an absolutely wonderful beginning of the school year!
